We are seeking a professional and friendly Head Receptionist to join our team. This role requires strong managerial skills, organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage staff, manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy practice environment.
Previous dental reception experience essential.
Responsibilities
Manage the reception team ensuring a positive first impression for our patients.
Ensure excellent phone etiquette from all staff.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Utilise financial tasks and administrative duties as required.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Organise and maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming.
Handle correspondence, including emails and postal mail, in a timely manner.
Support reception staff with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Requirements
Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in data entry is advantageous.
Competence in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A professional appearance and demeanour are essential for this role.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
