Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Supervisor to oversee our pub day to day. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in team management, and a solid understanding of the hospitality or food service sectors. This role requires a proactive approach to managing teams, ensuring customers are happy and push themselves and the team to make sure standards are kept high. The successful applicant will bring a blend of supervisory experience, organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the team to ensure top service is provided to each and every customer. Understanding of IPA's and wine is a bonus. Willingness to learn all parts of the pub like fruit ordering and/or ordering cleaning products weekly. Monitor daily activities, resolve problems promptly, and prepare reports for senior management. Train new staff.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment. Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities. Extensive knowledge of local IPA's, wine and cocktails is advantageous. Familiarity with restaurant operations, hotel experiences, or bar roles is desirable. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills. Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with staff at all levels. Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
