ABOUT THE ROLE


In the role of Head Therapist, your key focus will be to:

supervise the Spa Therapists, Spa Concierges and Spa attendants with support from the Health Club and Spa Manager be responsible for all aspects of training of the Spa Therapists ensure the Spa Concierge have good product and treatment knowledge and are able to retail and book a variety of treatments be fully aware of the treatment menu and product knowledge, working closely with our product houses and our own Chuan brand carry out treatments on a daily basis inspect and ensure all treatment rooms and spa areas are set up according to standards at all times maintain clear lines of communication within the Spa and the hotel in general

ABOUT YOU

experience in a similar position and environment with a firm understanding of excellence in customer service Spa/Beauty qualification at NVQ Level 2 &3 or equivalent (a professional background in beauty therapy and a Spa/Beauty qualification in CIDESCO/CIBTAC/ITEC is desirable) certification and experience in Swedish, Deep tissue, Pregnancy Massage, as well as Facials and Electric Facials, is essential. Qualifications in Reiki, Reflexology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Lymphatic Drainage- desirable passion for training, developing and inspiring others is a key ideally knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and the 5 elements excellent communication and interpersonal skills great presentation warm and caring attitude towards the health and well-being of guests drive to work towards targets in treatment and retail ability to work well in a team good time management and organisation skills
