Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Head Yard Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations by ensuring that construction plant is handled properly within the yard. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As the Head Yard Worker, your work would involve:

Organise and maintain the yard area, keeping it clean and free of hazards. Assisting in Loading and unloading vehicles Recording and reporting any damages on plant from customer returns Ensuring all plant is cleaned, refuelled and inspected before leaving the yard Operate forklifts and other machinery as required for moving materials Managing the team, including duties, attendance and expectations.
Essential criteria for the Head Yard Person role is:

Motivated Good leadership and communicational skills Good organisational skills Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory as training may be provided. Strong physical fitness, capable of heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Computer literate

Pay: 11.44-13.50 per hour
