Job Description

We're working with a well-known main contractor that has built up a great reputation across the UK and Ireland. With a turnover of over 100m, they've got a strong order book, plenty of repeat clients, and a solid mix of projects on the go. They're active across both residential and commercial schemes, usually with package values between 10m and 30m, and they've got more work kicking off in London that needs the right people in place.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Role
They're now looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in London. You'll be involved in the day-to-day safety management of live sites, supporting project teams and making sure everything runs to the right standards.
Your role will include:

• Helping to implement and enforce health and safety policies.
• Putting together risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans.
• Carrying out site inspections and audits.
• Working closely with site teams to promote a strong health and safety culture.
• It's a good opportunity for someone who wants to build on their experience with a main contractor and work on some sizeable projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or General Certificate) - this is a must.
• At least a year's experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, ideally with a main contractor.
• A good understanding of CDM regulations and site safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with different site teams.
