We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, particularly in areas related to first aid, fire safety, moving and handling, dementia, infection control, MCA, DoLS, safeguarding etc. Clinical skill such as Catheterisation and venepuncture would be highly advantageous. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment while ensuring that all training aligns with organizational goals and best practices. This role involves developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that participants gain a thorough understanding of relevant topics. The Group Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our staff, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and health outcomes.
Duties
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes
Conduct engaging training sessions that facilitate learning and retention of information.
Provide ongoing mentorship and support to trainees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of participants.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop strategies for workforce development.
Supervise trainees during practical applications of learned skills, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations
Provide ongoing support and resources to staff post-training to reinforce learning.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant progress.
Skills
Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Ability to educate diverse groups with varying levels of knowledge and experience.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in developing training materials.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
