Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our client in her own home. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of care plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Provide personal care to the client, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support the client with mobility and transfers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care activities
- Communicate effectively with the client, family, and healthcare team members
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record-keeping

Requirements:
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to drive to different locations as required
- Familiarity with care plans and patient documentation
- Experience or willingness to work in a care setting
- Strong communication skills to interact with the client and colleagues efficiently

The Rota: (Not negotiable)

For this position the shift pattern is as follows: -

Day 1 starts at 10:15 and finishes at 17:00. Total of 6.3/4 hours

Day 2 this is a split shift; 08:00 to 10:30 and 18:00 to 22:00. Total 6.1/2 hours.

Day 3 starts at 15:00 and finishes at 22:00. Total of 7 hours.

Day 4 starts at 08:00 and finishes at 15:00. Total 7 hours.

This is followed by two days off. This pattern stays the same as it rolls through the year.

You will need to be Flexible with working hours.

Hours worked = 27.25 over four days = 32 hours per week pro-rota over the year.

Premium hourly rates. I.E. Day-shift = 15.36 Evening shift = 15.66, Saturdays = 18.43, Sundays = 21.50. Bank holiday = 27.95. and Christmas day = 30.40. Plus overtime opportunities.

There are 5.6 weeks holiday (pro-rota).
