Job Summary

As a Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality care within a care home environment. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong leadership skills and experience. The Team Leader will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented, and fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and team members.

Duties



Ensure support staff in delivering exceptional care to residents, ensuring their dignity and wellbeing are upheld. Staff onboarding process Inductions Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in senior care and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the team. Liaise with families, and healthcare professions. Office compliance data Supervisions/spot checks Care plans/ risk assessments Staff competencies Monthly Audits

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues. Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties. A compassionate approach to care and support, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times.
