HS2, Britain's new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2's construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Health And Safety Administrator



Location:

Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).

Role Responsibilities:



Carry out administrative processes to a high standard with attention to detail relating to health and safety in accordance with BBV processes and procedures. Work with the Team developing the Health and Safety Management system (template, formatting procedures) Ensure Health & Safety documentation is communicated to all and available on the IPTAN Way and online project filing system. M-Site - act as an M-Site Coordinator. Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing. Work with the Health, and Safety Teams for developing Health, Safety and Wellbeing campaigns. Support the Team gathering data for month end reports. Work with the Team and the supplier on the project access control system to ensure only competent personnel access the working area and competency information is kept up to date.

Essential Experience:



Good communication skills, excellent attention to detail, an organised approach to work and an affinity towards working with standardised processes templates and frameworks. Good IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and good written skills including spelling and grammar, are essential.
