Job Description

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a HSE Specialist - Inside IR35 for a 3 Month contract (with possible extension) based Hybrid - Remote & 3 days p/week in Swindon or any office location along the Wales & Western Route.

As a HSE Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to:



Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters across local teams and worksites. Conduct risk-based inspections and support audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Assist line management with incident investigations, evidence collection, and safety assurance processes. Support the development and review of risk assessments, safety checks, and site tours. Contribute to data collection and analysis for workforce HSE performance and supplier contract documentation.

You'll have:



Demonstrable Health, Safety & Environmental report writing skills. Experience of carrying out safety investigations & risk assessments. NEBOSH qualification. Strong IT skills. Rail or Construction experience - desirable.
