We are looking for a

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager

to join our Infrastructure team located near Birmingham. The purpose of the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Manager is to oversee and manage the overall project health, safety, and wellbeing performance. The HSW Manager will be responsible for ensuring Skanska project teams comply with HSW regulations and stakeholder and client requirements.

What you'll do:





Ensure that Company and project requirements / KPI'S are being maintained and standards met across the scheme Support the project/OU in the production, review and implementation of specific plans for managing health, safety and wellbeing Manage and support the Project HSW team and provide direction on focus areas Ensure the project is meeting legal HSW compliance as well as expectations from outside bodies i.e., HSE Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, and the practical implementation of the company's SHW policies. Lead on compiling and completion of Client led HSW metrics and quarterly reporting Lead when required on entries and closing out of project incidents on OSHENS (Skanska reporting database) and HART (client reporting database)

What you'll bring to the role:



Experience in managing/advising on health, safety and wellbeing in construction. Level 5 academically recognised qualification or above (i.e. Diploma/Degree/ NVQ) relating to health, safety and wellbeing. Experience in the development and implementation of health, safety and wellbeing strategies. Skilled in leading and supporting incident investigation. CMIOSH Membership or working towards this. NEBOSH diploma or NVQ level 5 or above in Occupational Health & Safety if not obtained working towards
