Our hourly rate starting at 13.27 (this includes both shadow shifts and training) hourly rates range from 13.27 to 14.82 plus enhancement for Sundays, Bank Holidays and overtime. Generous travel time and mileage paid on top of your hourly rate.

The Aim of the Service:
To provide comprehensive, high quality personal support services to people within their own homes.
The Purpose of the Post:
To work as part of a team of staff who work to enable clients to live independently within their own homes and assist them to remain valued members of the local community.
General Information
Domiciliary carer workers work in the homes of elderly and disabled people. Carers carry out the tasks that would normally be undertaken by family members to enable both the client and family to as independently as possible under the circumstances.
To work hours which meet the needs of clients. These will include working early mornings, evenings, every other week-end and Bank Holidays.
To undertake any on the job training considered necessary to meet the requirements
The Main Responsibilities of the Role:
To provide personal care for clients in their own homes which may include: washing, bathing, shaving, toileting, dressing, food preparation, cooking meals and feeding clients.
To work as a member of a team to provide appropriate support and care for clients.
To provide assistance and direct personal care to clients in accordance with individual needs and stated preferences.
To provide assistance and direct personal care as specified in the care contract which the company has agreed with the client.
To assist clients to carry out domestic chores, encouraging a clean and homely environment working safely in the home, promoting and encouraging service users to maintain appropriate awareness of, and responses to hazards.
To represent the best interests of the company and the clients.
To assist clients in maximising leisure opportunities, being prepared to participate in leisure activities.
To maintain good relationships with clients' families, social workers and other people involved with providing support to the clients
To respond to changing needs of clients and advice the company of any suggested changes to the agreed care needs.
To participate in training and development programmes identified by the company.
To work as a member of a team, contributing to effective communication.
To maintain required records in accordance with company policy and established procedure.
To undertake any other duties required of the post as directed by the company.
