An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work at the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory as a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker. This is a developmental post to a Band 3 once all the essential training and development criteria have been achieved.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in cardiology and intervention, keen to be involved in this expanding and dynamic service.
You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
The post holder will support the team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
The candidate must be an excellent role model and be capable of building strong working relationships.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply for this post.
To assist Registered nurses and other team members in delivering a high standard of patient care.
To assist in admitting, caring for and discharging patients through their journey in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This entails preparing patients pre procedure and ensuring their aftercare recovery post procedure.
The Cardiac Cath Lab team consist of Doctors, Nurses, Radiographers and Cardiac Physiologists who all work together to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the patients. All the procedures carried out in the Cardiac Cath Lab require all disciplines to work together and the team is only as strong as its weakest link, making this a team that works cohesively together, valuing and respecting each other.
