Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Healthcare Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes in

Melton Mowbray

. You will support individuals with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Support with meal preparation and respecting dietary needs and preferences Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and MAR charts Help with light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping Offer companionship and emotional support, building trusting relationships Provide mobility assistance, including use of hoists or mobility aids where required Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental health Maintain accurate daily records and communication logs Adhere to safeguarding protocols and promote health and safety at all times Work collaboratively with family members, healthcare professionals, and the care team

Requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community-based care)

Previous experience in a similar care role (preferred but not essential - training provided) A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people Good communication skills, both written and verbal Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS check (can be arranged by employer)
