About The Role
Healthcare Support Worker
Salary
- 25,557 - 29,723 depending on experienceHours
- 37.5 hours per week. Mainly day shifts (inc weekends) between 07:30 - 20:30, with 1 week of nights every 5 weeks.Here at Practice Plus Group, we are looking for a healthcare support worker to join the team at HMP Risley -a category C prison in Warrington with capacity of nearly 1100 men.

We're looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to help deliver the best care possible.
Joining the primary care team, you will:
Run clinics on the wings, including bloods and vaccinations. Be involved in care packages, including phlebotomy, venepuncture, ECGs and observations. Respond to emergency situations. Work with the wider nursing team across the prison.
What do we need from you:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or Care Certificate. Clinical knowledge - venepuncture, phlebotomy would be a bonus! A caring approach, with the drive to help those in your care.
