This post will provide excellent grounding for any Healthcare Support Worker with a genuine interest in children's care and its treatments, and could lead to a rewarding future in York Paediatrics. The post has to offer:



You will be based on the Paediatric wards in York

To assist and support members of the multi-professional team in order to provide a high standard of patient - cantered care; performing duties without the need for constant direct supervision.

Being part of a forward thinking, dynamic, supportive and friendly team



Assist the nursing team

Undertake observations on patients

Support the families and children

Help with general cleanliness and upkeep of the ward

Support the medics with procedures



Support doctors in clinic and assist with weighing and measuring



Please be aware that you must be able to attend a full time induction programme for the first 4 weeks in your new role.
