Job Description

We are seeking a Heat pump service/maintenance and commissioning engineer

The role to include:

Oversee the initial start-up and configuration of new heat pump installations, adjusting settings to ensure the system works as designed and efficiently.

Conduct planned and preventative maintenance on air source, ground source, and exhaust air heat pump systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and technical issues in heat pump systems, including mechanical and electrical components and refrigerants.

Carry out repairs and replace defective components to resolve breakdowns quickly.

Maintain detailed records of all service and maintenance activities, including repairs made, and submit site reports promptly.

Requirements for the role:

Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, and electrical systems, as well as thermodynamics.

Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and rectify complex issues.

Ability to use computers or hand-held devices for diagnostics, reporting, and using customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Professional demeanor and strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, project managers, and other trades.

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating, Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification, and heat pump specific F-Gas qualification CAT-1 is essential for this role

Working across commercial & residential

This role will include working long distance and over night stays when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
