We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in their care.
Duties
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, etc.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for those in your care.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
IT proficiency for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential qualities for this role.
