Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting independence.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Follow care plans to deliver personalised support tailored to each client's requirements. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported during travel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for clients. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. Ability to follow care plans meticulously while being adaptable to changing client needs. A full driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
