Candidates should have practical experience with Makaton, enabling them to communicate with individuals who have communication difficulties. Additionally, proficiency in peg feeding is essential, as this role involves assisting residents with specialised dietary needs.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. medication administration Support individuals in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and progress. Document care provided and any changes in residents' conditions accurately and promptly. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Drive to various locations if required for home care visits, ensuring safe transportation for clients. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the care environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. valid Driving License Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous. Strong IT skills for documentation purposes are desirable. Proficient communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
