Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber and gas fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role requires an individual who is capable of performing a variety of plumbing tasks, from installation to maintenance, inc boiler repairs and installation of other gas appliances mainly in residential areas but we do some commercial settings. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, fittings, and appliances. Assemble and weld piping systems as required for various projects. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport materials or equipment. Utilise basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations may be beneficial for transporting tools and materials. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Experience in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Commercial tickets would be beneficial

Pay: 37,000.00-42,000.00 per year
