DOMESTIC HEATING ENGINEER/SUBCONTRACTOR

We're a plumbing and heating company based in Bury, providing an exceptional service to domestic and commercial customers across the Greater Manchester area and beyond. We're expanding our team to continue delivering top-quality services to our customers.

THE PERSON FOR THIS JOB

We're looking for a skilled and confident Heating Engineer who thrives on building great relationships with customers, solving problems and delivering an excellent service. You'll bring your expertise in heating to our customers while supporting the growth of our business into this sector.

This is a role for someone who wants to take ownership, is solution focused and confident in heating. You will have good experience of working in domestic settings.

DAY TO DAY IT WILL INVOLVE

Conducting gas safety checks, boiler servicing, and reactive maintenance work.

Installing and repairing heating systems.

Assisting wih installing boilers, radiators and general heating installations to help other team members.

Troubleshooting central heating issues.

Keeping job progress up to date using our software and liaising with the office team.

Providing an excellent customer experience with our companies values in mind and ensuring every job is completed to a high standard.

THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON WILL

Hold their Domestic Gas Qualifications (ACS) and an NVQ Level 2 or higher in Plumbing & Heating.

Have at least 3 years of experience (5 years preferred) in plumbing and heating.

Possess a CSCS card (or willing to carry out this test) and a clean, full UK driving licence.

Willing to undertake a DBS check.

Be organized, self-motivated, and take pride in their work.

Enjoy working as part of a team and have a solution focused attitude.
