An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Heating Engineer to join our team.

Business Overview:

Central plumbing and heating is a Lincoln based company, working in and around the Lincolnshire area.

Job Purpose/Background:

We are currently looking for a Gas Heating Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in gas, oil, plumbing & heating.

Knowledge / Experience:

Essential qualifications:

Level 2 NVQ in plumbing & heating Domestic gas qualification in the following: boilers, cookers, fires, FGA and pipework Minimum of 5 years gas qualification Full UK driving licence
Desired qualifications:

Level 3 NVQ in advanced plumbing, heating and gas Commercial/catering gas qualification Oil qualification suitable for OFTEC registration
The ideal candidate will possess these skills:

Excellent customer service Highly organised with great time-keeping skills Basic level of IT skills excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with your team and customers on a daily basis
On top of these we expect candidates to be proficient in the following areas:

The gas regulations and procedures Boiler servicing and maintenance Central heating installations and replacements Boiler installations, replacements and upgrades Assessing and establishing the cause of faults Repairing breakages and faults

Plumbing: 2 years (preferred)
