Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate safely and effectively, providing comfort and efficiency for our clients. Gas and ASHP.
Overview of the Role:
Heating Engineer
Salary - 37,500 - 41,500
Holidays: 30 days. Additional days per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy back scheme of additional 5 days

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties, Gas and ASHP.
Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for various tasks.
Perform plumbing work related to heating systems, including pipe fitting and soldering.
Assemble components of heating systems according to specifications.
Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on site, ensuring efficient workflow and communication.
Qualifications
CCN1
CENWAT
Unvented HWSS - advantage.
Level 3 ASHP - advantage
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
