About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to operate our heavy gauge de-coiler, processing steel between 3mm and 20mm thick. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production and high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the de-coiler line safely and efficiently
Monitor and maintain line performance to meet production targets
Perform visual quality checks and record data using a tablet
Adhere to Health & Safety standards and 5S workplace organisation
Take initiative in quality control and equipment operation
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years' experience on production lines, preferably in steel manufacturing
Experience with overhead cranes (training available if needed)
Familiar with Health & Safety practices in manufacturing
Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive
Effective communicator with a flexible attitude
Requirements
Prior experience with steel coil or sheet metal is essential
Valid overhead crane licence required
Committed to high production and quality standards
Willing to learn and take on new challenges
