About the role
What you'll do:
Act as the first point of contact for customer and contractor queries, resolving issues with professionalism.
Log, manage, and follow up on faults using client platforms, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
Coordinate engineer schedules, communicate attendance, and ensure job documentation is complete for billing.
Track job progress, chase subcontractors, and update customers on parts and service status.
Process jobs in the finance system to enable invoicing and raise purchase orders when needed.
Administer planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
Monitor helpdesk systems and email queries, escalating incidents and liaising with clients and senior management.
Support contract setup, service monitoring, and supplier performance reporting.
Maintain accurate records, manage contractor controls, and oversee departmental supplies.
Assist with health and safety compliance, disaster recovery updates, and attend management meetings.
Who you'll be:
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Experience of working in a call centre / help desk (desired)
Minimum grades at GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
Good IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Able to work under pressure and to defined deadlines
Able to work as part of a larger team and independently
Prior Customer Service or Industry experience required.
