About the role

If you are committed and highly motivated with an ability to work in a demanding and fast paced, democratic organisation, then this role could be the one for you.

You will work within the Help and Support team and be one of the first points of contact for students, staff and visitors. You will provide information and general help to students, manage room bookings, set up spaces, and handle a range of administrative tasks. You will also supervise the Help and Support Assistants and provide guidance to them in the Coordinator's absence. The role is primarily desk based, although you will need to be confident in approaching service users to offer help, with elements of moving around the building to assist users and ensure everything runs smoothly.

About you

The Help and Support team work together to ensure students love their time at Leeds by providing the right help and support when they need it most. This is an interesting and challenging role, where you will learn a wide variety of skills and gain invaluable experience. If you are hoping to one day work in management, the health or social care sector, the leisure and tourism industry, or if you're simply looking for a part-time job that makes a difference, this could be a perfect job for you.

What you get in return

The benefits you can enjoy include holiday pay, extensive opportunities for learning and further development, NUS TOTUM Card, onsite venue staff discounts, discounted travel card, and discounted gym membership.

The people and culture at LUU are often cited as the top reason why people enjoy working here. You will be part of an organisation that not only values but champions inclusion and diversity. You can learn more about our commitment to being an anti-racist organisation here and the work we do to ensure that our diverse community is represented and supported here.
