We are seeking a reliable HGV 1 Tramper to join our team., working Sunday to Thursday nights average 12 hours a shift

As an HGV 1 Tramper, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies.

This role requires flexibility, all parking is paid via snap account.

The job is mainly depot to depot trunking and trailer swaps with no handball required. All trucks are new and fully equipped with fridges and microwaves.

Responsibilities

Operate HGV 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations. Conduct pre-journey checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues via an app. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times. Adhere to health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence with no more than six penalty points. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
