Class 1 HGV drivers needed for a busy chemical manufacturer and haulage company based in Kirby L33 with UK coverage. Modern fleet of vehicles used to carry a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in tautliners, road barrels and iso tanks .

The tankers work along side our industrial services teams and transport waste and products throughout the UK.

Driver CPC is essential.

ADR is essential

Candidates must have a flexible attitude to work.

Occasional weekend working and nights out/tramping are expected as part of the role.

14 up to 40 hours/week, 21 thereafter.

Desirable skills

- Proven experience as a tanker driver or similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a good, clean driving record
- Good knowledge of commercial driving regulations, legislation and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication skills and professional manner to interact with dispatch, other team members and customers directly
