Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced

Class 1 HGV Drivers

with a valid

Port Access Card

to join our ongoing agency pool. Drivers will be responsible for safely operating articulated lorries, transporting goods to and from port facilities, and ensuring deliveries are completed on time while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 articulated HGVs on assigned routes, including port access. Use a valid Port Access Card to enter port premises and follow all security and safety protocols. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring cargo is secure and delivery paperwork is accurate. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues. Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and port personnel.

Requirements / Candidate Profile:

Valid

Class 1 HGV license

(Category C+E). Valid

Port Access Card

. Proven experience driving articulated lorries professionally. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, traffic laws, and port procedures. Strong time management, reliability, and organizational skills. Professional attitude and ability to work independently.
