Job Description

North West Recycling, Cumbria's leading waste management supplier are actively recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our expanding team.

We employ over 120 staff, operate over 30 vehicles, and deploy over 2500 skips and containers from our 30-acre purpose-built waste management, skip hire and recycling facility near Carlisle, in Cumbria.

As a family run business, we are committed to helping our customers and partners to better, more sustainably, manage their waste. Our aim is to fully close the circular journey of the waste produced, through our ability to manage the entire process - skip hire and business waste collection through to recycling and full material recovery.

Due to company growth we are expanding our fleet from 30 to 35 vehicles.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced tramper driver to join our team, the job will involve collecting and delivering bulk waste from various customers Nationwide, this role will be a Monday to Friday operation, starting from Carlisle on a Monday. Your designated vehicle will be modern and will have everything required for multiple nights out per week.

The ideal candidate must have a valid up to date driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card. A minimum of 1 years Class 1 experience of tramping.

The Package

The role attracts an annual salary of 50k - 60k including the opportunity to earn a 80 weekly bonus. Any requirement for an overnight stay will also attract a 35 allowance.

We benefit from having an up-to-date fleet of vehicles and we offer regular CPC courses.

50 hours per week plus overtime as required (overnight requirements).

20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. An additional days holiday for every year of service up to 10 days.
