Barnes Logistics Ltd is an equal opportunity employer with multiple depots across the UK. With a fleet of over 90 vehicles and 120+ employees, we are one of the UK's leading providers of logistical support and warehousing.

Due to recent expansion of a new contract, we have one vacancy for a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Rochdale depot. The role is a long-term and secure contract, involving nights out, transporting predominantly box trailers with palletised goods, for one of the world's largest companies.

HGV Driver Benefits

HGV Driver Requirements

A minimum of 1 years class 1 driving experience involving nights out.

Drug and alcohol check.

Criminal background check.

Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE). Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Valid Digital Tachograph. Flexible and helpful approach.

HGV Driver Responsibilities

Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres. Interact with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner. Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers. Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries

Shift Patterns

4 nights out per week. Long-term and secure contract.
