Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License looking for a new role in a company with nearly 150 years of experience within the logistics and removals sector?

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Class 2 Driver, that's hard-working and resilient as you'll be delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues.

Requirements

Skills, Qualifications and Licences

HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential) Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred) Digital Tacho Driver Card (essential) Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) (essential) Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential) ADR - Packages (preferred) Domestic Removals Experience

Daily Responsibilities

Vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5t vehicle. Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the days operation. Lifting and packing a range of Laboratory equipment, furniture, fine art and more. Taking goods in or out of storage. Lifting and moving loads in excess of 25kg. Ensuring the highest of standards are met when on site. Responsible for your health and safety or you and colleagues. Always deliver excellent customer care and service. Complying with all company and health and safety procedures.
