Job Description
North East Tippers Ltd have a vacancy for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to work out of Langley Moor, Durham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual with great time management skills and the relevant experience to operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle for bulk tipper work, the roles involves delivering/collecting aggregates & spoil in and around the North East. Full time role 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) and an additional day every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure that the vehicle is always kept safe and legal.
Comply with driving hours and working time directives.
Ensure vehicle is kept tidy and cleaned regularly
Follow site rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
Be able to use Smartphone or tablet for proof of delivery (tickets)
FORS training will be required to be completed on commencement of employment, as well as a SUD (Safe Urban driving course).
Minimum requirements
Must have experience operating an 8 wheeler tipper wagon.
