Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires proficiency in commercial driving although we will consider drivers who have recently passed there test. Candidates should have a passion for providing exceptional service as a delivery driver.

Responsibilities

Operate refigerated lorries to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Experience driving vehicles is highly desirable. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
