Driver Hire Uxbridge are seeking a professional and skilled

HGV Class 2 HIAB/Grab Driver

to join our client, a leading builders' merchant in Southall UB2. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality service as the company expands.

36,250.00

+ extra 1000.00 after 6 months (no absences / accidents / complaints etc) + quarterly branch bouses

20 days + 5 days at Christmas and bank holidays

Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:30 + every other Saturday 08:00am to 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a HIAB or grab lorry to deliver and collect roofing materials Maintain the vehicle to high safety standards Achieve operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company's legislative and commercial obligations are met. Assist site staff with loading and unloading of materials

Ideal Candidate:

Valid UK driving licence with Cat C Valid HIAB certification Valid Driver CPC and TACHO are essential At least 2 years' experience driving a Class 2 vehicle Crane/HIAB knowledge is a plus but not essential Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently Good verbal and written communication skills Customer-focused with a proactive attitude Knowledge or experience of working in the roofing sector would be a bonus, but not essential
