HE Work Placement Co-ordinator

About the Role
As a Work Placement Co-ordinator, you'll support the planning, organisation, and monitoring of work placements for HE students. You'll work closely with curriculum teams, employers, and students to ensure placements are safe, enriching, and aligned with academic goals.
Essential Criteria
We're looking for someone who can bring the following to the role:
A relevant qualification and strong IT skills (including Word and Excel)
Experience working with individuals aged 18+ and within the education sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and planning abilities
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and develop new and existing work placements across HE programmes
Conduct Health & Safety assessments and support safeguarding in placement settings
Brief students and staff on placement processes and expectations
Maintain accurate records and employer databases
Liaise with employers, students, and curriculum teams to monitor placement progress
Support students with DBS checks and placement documentation
Respond to internal and external placement enquiries
Promote a positive student experience and contribute to continuous improvement

The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
