Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented and customer-centric Hire Desk Controller to join our Generator Rental team. The Hire Desk Controller will be responsible for driving our response to rental customer's requests, ensuring that the correct generators and associated equipment are delivered to the customer's desired location at the right time and as required. You will work with the engineering and transport teams to arrange all deliveries and collections of equipment, making sure they are made in the most efficient manner, and that all paperwork and systems are correctly produced / updated and processed. You will use our Point of Rental software system to co-ordinate all aspects of the successful delivery of rental customer's requests, covering planned works, reactive works, and emergency callouts for our major framework customers, to one-off hires for private individuals. You will ensure all invoices are correctly raised and sent to customers and deal with any queries

Responsibilities



Receive and process all incoming requests for generator hire Process all hire requests and produce all relevant information Work with engineering and transportation teams to ensure the correct equipment is delivered to and collected from site at the start and end of hire periods Provide first class customer service, providing information and updates to customers Report to Line Managers on all issues and keep them informed of daily activity Provide a central point of reference and communication for all colleagues involved in successfully delivering the rental offering to our customers

Experience



Proven experience as a Hire Desk Controller or in a similar role Demonstrable experience in providing excellent customer service Strong understanding of administration, processes and procedures Proficiency in IT packages; MS365, and experience of Syrinx / Point of Rental / InspHire beneficial although training will be provided Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities

Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
