Humanities Teacher with a specialism in History
to cover a full-time role fromJanuary to April 2026
. The post involves teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contributing to the wider Humanities curriculum.Main Responsibilities
Teach History to classes in Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school curriculum. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as required. Maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Participate in departmental planning and school meetings.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in History or a related Humanities subject. Experience teaching History at secondary level. Ability to use effective classroom management strategies. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
