We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for an alternative provision setting in Wirral. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experience working with students aged 11-16.
Duties
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development. .
Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
Mentor students, promoting their independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement.
Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational or care setting is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students' learning journeys.
