Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hockey Coach to lead and inspire pupils of various skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, with experience working with children and youth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop athletes' skills, foster teamwork, and promote a positive sporting environment.

Duties

Plan and conduct hockey sessions, tailored to different age groups and skill levels Develop training programs with the support of other teaching staff Lead team drills Teach sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline to players of all ages Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement Manage behavior on and off the ice to maintain a positive environment Coordinate with parents, staff, and other coaches regarding team activities and player development Promote health and safety standards consistent with sports coaching best practices

Skills

Experience working with students or children in sports or educational settings Strong background in sports coaching with knowledge of hockey fundamentals Skills in behavior management Excellent communication skills to motivate players and collaborate with team members Demonstrated ability to organize practices effectively while ensuring safety standards are met

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
