Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hockey Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and/or teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop school pupils of all skill levels and ages.

Duties



Develop and implement hockey training programmes tailored to the needs of individual players and the team as a whole. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies. Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their performance and understanding of the game. Organise and lead competitive matches/training sessions. Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among players. Maintain open communication with players, parents, and other teaching staff. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and hockey trends to continually improve training methods.

Requirements



Proven experience in coaching, preferably in hockey or a related sport. Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. A thorough understanding of hockey rules, strategies, and techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekday afternoons Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 25.00-35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week

Work Location: On the road
