Job Overview
As a Hoist Operator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that heavy materials are moved safely and efficiently on-site. Your expertise in operating various types of heavy equipment will contribute to the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. You'll be at the forefront of construction activities, working alongside a dynamic team to bring projects to life.
What you'll do
Operate hoists and cranes to lift and move materials, ensuring precise placement according to project specifications. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations and maintain workflow efficiency. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on hoisting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operations. Assist in training new operators on safe practices and equipment handling techniques.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in a construction environment with hands-on operation of heavy machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Must have a valid CPCS Must have a Medical/Fit to work
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
Work Location: In person
