Job Overview
As a Hoist Operator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that heavy materials are moved safely and efficiently on-site. Your expertise in operating various types of heavy equipment will contribute to the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. You'll be at the forefront of construction activities, working alongside a dynamic team to bring projects to life.
What you'll do
Operate hoists and cranes to lift and move materials, ensuring precise placement according to project specifications. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations and maintain workflow efficiency. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on hoisting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operations.
Essential & Desirable qualifications
CPCS Hoist Driver (Beam and Goods/Passenger) (E) Traffic Marshal trained (D) Fit-to-Work health screening completed (E) Harness trained (E) CPCS Slinger trained (D)
In addition to this, the CPCS Supervisor ticket would be a bonus and would be able to potentially pay more for the right person.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 16.50-18.00 per hour
