Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Holiday Camp Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working with children and want to create a fun and engaging environment during the holiday season. As a Holiday Camp Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers.

Responsibilities

Assist in delivering engaging activities for children, including arts and crafts, sports, and games. Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and enjoyment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive camp experience. Manage group dynamics and encourage teamwork among campers. Provide support in maintaining a clean and organised environment throughout the camp facilities. Ensuring safeguarding procedures on Trips Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued.

Skills

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire young campers. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Background in early childhood education or nursery settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage groups effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: 50.00-73.50 per day

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
