THE OPPORTUNITY

Woody's is launching a new site at Upton Meadows this February. We are seeking a high-caliber

Deputy Manager

to join the launch team. This is a strategic role designed for a professional who is ready to transition into a full Site Lead position.

During the February launch week, we will be on-site to provide full support and handle site setup. However, the successful candidate will be expected to manage the daily operations and staff team from Day One. This week serves as a professional evaluation; upon successful completion, the role will transition to a permanent

Site Lead

position for Easter and Summer 2026.

THE FIGURES

February Launch Rate:

15.00/hour.

Launch Completion Bonus:

100.00 (Awarded for 100% attendance, punctuality, and maintaining operational standards throughout the week).

Future Pay Scale:

17.00 - 21.00/hour (Applicable once the candidate moves into the Site Lead role).

THE ROLE: OPERATIONAL COMMAND

In February, the Deputy Manager will be responsible for the internal "pulse" of the club:

Staff Leadership:

Managing Activity Leaders, coordinating rotations, and ensuring high energy and engagement across all stations.

Logistics & Safeguarding:

Owning the daily register, managing safe transitions (lunch and pick-up), and ensuring 100% compliance with safety protocols.

Activity Oversight:

Ensuring the premium program (including Go-Karts, Drones, and Robotics) is delivered accurately and safely according to company plans.

Management Transition:

While supported by a Coordinator, you will be expected to demonstrate the independence required to run the site autonomously in future terms.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

An experienced professional (Senior TA, HLTA, or similar) with a background in primary education or holiday club management. A leader who is logistically minded and can manage the moving parts of a high-energy environment without losing focus on safety. A communicator who can handle parent interactions professionally and keep a staff team motivated.

REQUIREMENTS

Significant experience in a primary school or holiday club leadership role.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

(highly preferred due to February start). Full availability for the week of Feb 16th - 20th.
