About the Role
I'm a neurodivergent, disabled yoga teacher, community facilitator, and mum of two, living with ME/CFS and AuDHD. I've been granted Access to Work support to help make both my home life and small business more manageable and sustainable.
I'm looking for a compassionate, reliable, and proactive Personal Support Assistant to work alongside me in a very varied and flexible role. You'll be supporting me across practical daily tasks, business admin, emotional load, and physical logistics -- helping me stay nourished, rested, and organised so I can continue showing up for my work and my family.
This is my first time working with a support assistant, so the role will evolve as we figure out what works best. I'm looking for someone who's flexible, values-driven, and open to working collaboratively.

Core Values
You must be:
Trans-inclusive and LGBTQIA+ affirming (non-negotiable)
Disability-aware and neurodivergent-friendly
Comfortable around children (you'll occasionally spend time with them)
Emotionally intelligent, calm in chaos, and aligned with a culture of consent
Open-minded and kind, with strong communication and boundaries
Non-judgmental and able to be confidential
---
Key Responsibilities
Home & Life Support
Supporting executive functioning (reminders, lists, task structuring)
Light home organisation, tidying, laundry
Batch cooking and ensuring I'm fed and hydrated throughout the day
Grocery shopping and basic errands
Supporting rest scheduling, especially during fatigue flare-ups
Occasionally being present around or supporting my children
Physical Support & Logistics
Driving me to classes, events, or appointments
Carrying and setting up yoga equipment
Setting up spaces for workshops, markets, and festivals
Helping me pace and recover during work events
Admin & Business Support
Co-managing email inbox, calendar, and bookings
Helping with outreach, work opportunities, and client follow-up
Assisting with contracts, disability riders, and negotiations
Supporting Access to Work paperwork and basic bookkeeping
Organising digital and physical materials
Emotional & Cognitive Support
Helping carry the mental load of being a disabled, self-employed mum
Supporting decision-making, prioritisation, and planning
Being a calm, supportive, affirming presence

Requirements
If you do not meet these requirements but still feel like you'd be a good fit to the role please still get in touch. The most important thing is that you're a good fit for me and share the same values so there are elements of the job description that I can be more flexible with for the right person.
