We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in their own homes. This role involves delivering personalised care to individuals with diverse needs, including elderly clients, those with chronic conditions, or individuals recovering from illness. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment Administer medication following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records Provide specialised care for clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Support clients with assisted living needs, including mobility assistance and behaviour management Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required Handle emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary Assist with child or family care as needed in a home setting Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when required for mobility or equipment needs

Skills

Experience in assisted living, patient care, nursing home environments or home care settings Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice care, and senior care best practices Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals Ability to administer medication accurately and follow healthcare plans diligently Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and their families effectively Basic first aid certification and ability to respond calmly in emergencies Valid driving licence for transporting clients safely when necessary Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility tasks Organised with good time management skills to prioritise client needs efficiently Childcare experience is advantageous for supporting families with young children
