We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, patient care, and senior care, with a strong focus on promoting independence and well-being. This role involves delivering personalised care tailored to individual needs, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility from Domicillary care to sit-in service 12-hour shift rota, day or night.
Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences
Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases involving dementia or Alzheimer's care
Assist clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
Implement health and safety procedures, including first aid when necessary
Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns promptly
Assist with specialised care needs such as hospice or palliative care
Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, Domicillary care setting, Nurse back ground, nursing home, or home care settings is highly desirable
Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health and hospice care is advantageous
Experience in caregiving for seniors or individuals with behavioural challenges is preferred
Certification in first aid and medication administration is beneficial
Familiarity with meal preparation and driving responsibilities is a plus
