We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in their own homes. We welcome applicants from- Worksop, Sheffield, Nottingham, Retford, Mansfield and Rotherham. This role involves delivering personalised care to individuals with a variety of needs, including elderly clients, those with chronic conditions, or individuals recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others and possess relevant experience in assisted living or patient care. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
Support with meal preparation and nutritional needs
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Manage behaviour and implement care plans for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed
Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary
Support families by providing respite care and updates on client wellbeing
Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational policies
Qualifications
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings is preferred
Knowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer's, and senior care practices is highly desirable
Certification in first aid is advantageous
Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely are preferred
Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanour
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist with mobility support
Experience in medication administration and behaviour management is beneficial
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
